CAPE ST. CLAIRE SWIM CLUB POOL PASS CARD SYSTEM

The Cape St. Claire Swim Club POOL PASS card system for member and lessee pool use and admittance to Club facilities has been upgraded effective January 2006. The pass system is designed with the safety of the people using the Club facilities in mind as well as the safety of the Club’s staff. Each family member, or other dependent residing in the household with the membership owner(s) or lessee(s), will receive his/her own pool pass card, which must be used to enter the Club’s facilities. The card holds identifying data used to ensure membership/lessee status and pool use restrictions. (See color codes below.)

BABYSITTER CARDS
The pool pass system includes cards issued in members/lessee family names for their babysitters. Babysitter card requests are made during March with annual dues payments. Only one babysitter card will be issued per family.  It may only be used by one (1) babysitter at a time.  The cost for the babysitter card is $35.00. The replacement cost for a babysitter card and the cost for babysitter cards requested after April First is $50.00.

COLOR CODES
Colored Text on the Pool Pass cards designates restricted pool use:
Child under 30 months is restricted to baby pool.
Child over 30 months and toilet trained may use main pool when accompanied.
Child over 6 may not use baby pool.
Child is under 10 and must be accompanied by a member, lessee or babysitter over 13 years old.
Child is at least 10 yet under 12 and may use the pool unaccompanied.
Child is over 12 and may sponsor guests.
Designated babysitter is 13 years old or older.
Child is under 16 and must pass swim test to use deep end of main pool unaccompanied.
Those over 16 are not restricted.

Misuse of the cards may result in loss of Club privileges including forfeiture of bond or lease.

Members/Lessees picking up cards will be asked to sign for them. Only adult members of the family may pick up all cards. If a child comes, he/she can sign for his/her own card.

EVERY member and lessee MUST present his/her card AND sign the gate log to enter Club facilities. Pool pass cards will be kept by the guard on duty and returned to the member/lessee as he/she signs out and leaves. The guards will make every effort to remind members/lessees to sign out of the log and to take their cards, but it is the individual’s responsibility to sign out and pick up cards. Cards left at the pool will be kept until the next visit and may be reclaimed with some form of official identification.

LOST CARDS

Replacement cost for lost cards is $10.00 payable by check to CSCSC, Inc.
Payment must be in advance.
New cards may take up to two weeks to replace.
A temporary card may be obtained for the day at a cost of $3.00 which may be paid by check or spots marked off the guest card. Temporary cards are good for one day only and will be issued by the guard, but NOT returned as you leave the pool.
